Thoughts Within

Could you tell me
what it would be like
today, if you didn't leave me?
Would we be as happy
as we were?
Or would we not?
I'm asking this of you
and now I'm telling you
Thank you!
If you didn't leave me,
I would never of had the chance
to see what life would have
been like without you.
Now I see that we
are better off this way.
You are happy, and I
am happy with my life.
And we are still as close as ever.
